Minimum Requirements

Relationship: You must have children or grandchildren who are New Zealand citizens or residents

Sponsorship: You need to be sponsored by your child or grandchild, or by the parent of your grandchild (if they are under 18)

Offshore application: You must be living outside New Zealand at the time of application

Exception: You should not have had a Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa in the past 36 months.

Health & Character: You must be of good character and in good health.

Pay for any health care or medical assistance received while in New Zealand

Dependent children cannot be included in this visa application

Comply with all immigration and visa conditions
